Mln Siraaj Girie

Mln Completed his ῌifẓ under the tutelage of Sh Ismail Londt. He then completed his Ālimiyyah under  the late Muftī Taha Karaan at Dār al-‘Ulūm al-‘Arabiyyah al-Islāmiyyah (DUAI) in Strand. Mln also taught at DUAI for 1 year. Mln has done some informal studies under a number of scholars in the Middle east, Including Habīb Umar al-Jaylānī (the Shafi’ī Mufti of Makkah). Mln is currently a member and administrator of the Fatwa Department, who has worked directly under the late Muftī Taha Karaan for the 3 years, to his demise. Mln is also the founder and director of Al-Ṣuffah, currently running a Full-Time ῌifẓ Madrassah and part-time Arabic classes. Mln also heads the Academic/’Ilmī program at the Sumayah Foundation.
